What is an Oral Rehabilitator?

The oral rehabilitator is one of the specialties in dentistry that, without a doubt, we’ll all need at some point in our lives. This specialty is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of our mouth through dental prostheses, in order to recover and/or maintain the most important oral functions, such as chewing, speech articulation; even aesthetics.

Synonyms: Dentist specializing in dental prosthetics, prosthodontist.

We do all this from biocompatible materials on people with temporomandibular disorders, injuries to their jaws and/or teeth. The oral rehabilitator is in charge of restoring or placing ABSENT DENTAL PIECES so they look and work better. This specialty includes some things such as inlays, veneers, prostheses, etc.
